Farm Sanctuary
Among the many things I love, animals rank pretty high on the list. Specifically: goats. Adorable, intelligent, mischievous….really, what could be better?
A couple years ago, my girlfriend and I visited Farm Sanctuary in Northern California, an organization that provides care and shelter to rescued farm animals. We hung out for the day, toured the farm, met dozens of darling animals (and their human caretakers) and camped overnight.
Some months later, my girlfriend surprised me with an unusual birthday gift; Farm Sanctuary offers an “adoption” program, where you sponsor an animal of your choice to help pay for their care. My new goat, Goodall, was one of the more affectionate, interactive, and friendly goats in the herd. So cute. He never calls or writes, but I’m certain he’s doing well.
To show further support for Farm Sanctuary, I’ve designed this print. The original is all pen & ink; the print is brilliantly colored, 8.5 x 11″, on heavy, archival paper. Signed, sealed, delivered with expediency & love.

About Farm Sanctuary
When Farm Sanctuary started in 1986, it was a fledgling, all volunteer organization that was funded by sales of veggie hot dogs from a VW van. Today, Farm Sanctuary has grown to become the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization, with hundreds of thousands of supporters. Farm Sanctuary remains solidly committed to our mission to end cruelty to farm animals and promote compassionate living through rescue, education and advocacy efforts.
